RESILIENCE

Resilience is the ability of a natural system to intelligently prepare and respond to environmental changes

Resilience is a natural characteristic of most natural complex systems, and in a modern working world which is growing increasingly more complex, dynamic and disruptive each year; Resilience is steadily becoming the leading requisite for all organisational Risk Management

In this regard, Organisation-wide Resilience requires three primary enablers

Training & Education

It would be difficult to implement any form of proposed organisational Resilience without the participating stakeholders having a sound working knowledge of the concept

A Framework / A Plan

It would also be hard to achieve any structured form of organisational Resilience without a formally documented framework or plan

Ongoing Diagnostic Testing / Audits

Organisational Resilience can only be sustained if systemic vulnerabilities, dependencies and blind spots are regularly tested, reported and corrected
